How can I remove soda stain from library book?
A can of soda exploded in my bag, all over 3 library books. The edges were soaked. Right now they are drying out, but I am wondering how to get the color off once they are dry. Thanks!
im not sure if their is a way to get the color out without damaging them more……i wonder if oxyclean would work, or would that fade the lettering ? dilute a small amount and try it on one of the inside cover pages……one with unimportant text on it, if it works then great……..if not, and the books are still readable, not totally stained through, the library might give you a break and not make you pay for them….best of luck …..hope for a nice librarian
